TUITION POLICIES
§
All Registration and Medical forms must be completed, signed and
returned on or before the first day of school.
Any child not having a completed medical form will not be
allowed in school by order of the New York City Department of
Health, Bureau of Day Care.
§
A non-refundable registration fee of (call for pricing) is due upon
enrollment of your child.
§
Tuition is due on the first day each month for the following month.
Therefore, payment begins August 1st for
September, September 1st for October.
In June, no tuition is due unless your child is attending
Summer Camp. If
registering after August 1st, two months tuition is
due at the start of the school year to put you up to date with
the rest of the school. Late
payments of tuition are accepted up to the 7th of the
month. A 10% late
fee will be added to your invoice after the 7th.
If tuition is not paid by the 30th, we reserve
the right to dismiss your child.
Tuition is charged per month.
There are no refunds or make-up days regardless of
absences, illnesses, holidays or vacations.
Upon registering your child, your tuition will be set for
each month of the year based on the amount of days and amount of
hours per day needed. If you wish to increase or decrease either the amount of days
or hours in a day or change them, you must see the director to
make any revisions. Staff
is hired based on the amount of children per class at one given
time. You must pick your child up on time or we will have too few
teachers for children present.
If there are days where perhaps you are running late,
have an emergency or simply wish to extend your child’s day,
please be courteous and call.
If not an emergency and we have the space available you
may extend your child’s day.
Fee for the above is $5.00 per hour.
If you do not call and pick your child up late, we will
be forced to charge $5.00 for every 15 minutes you are late. Small World Preschool operates solely on tuition, late
payments and fluctuating from your normal schedule cannot be
tolerated.

Once tuition is paid for the month it is non-refundable.
If you feel that you must take your child our for
whatever reason, please be courteous and let us know since it
will give us time to place another child from our waiting list.
§
There will be a $35.00 service fee for each check returned unpaid due to
insufficient funds. If
your check is re-deposited and returned again, then I will ask
for tuition to be in cash, money order or certified check,
including late charges and bounced check fee.
§
We will adhere to our own school calendar. Please call the school in case of inclement weather or
hazardous road conditions.
Closings, early dismissal or delayed openings in this
case will be left up to the discretion of the director.
There will be no make up days or refunds for a snow day,
early dismissal or delayed opening.
